Berwick Hospital Center has ENDED emergency department services on Sept. 17, 2022.
The hospital DOES NOT accept any emergent admissions and DOES NOT perform any surgical procedures.
This will not affect admissions to the hospital’s behavioral health unit.

TITLE	DESCRIPTION	REQUIREMENTS	EDUCATION	FTE	SHIFT
RN Behavioral Health Full Time	Assesses plans, supervises, evaluates all nursing care of the patients and correlates the nursing process, medical plan of care, multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care, and nursing policies.	Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the area of psychiatry. PA RN License BLS certification. SCM training	Must possess a current Pennsylvania license as a Registered Nurse.	.9 36 hrs. per week	7am-7pm
RN Behavioral Health * Full Time 7 pm- 7 am	Assesses plans, supervises, evaluates all nursing care of the patients and correlates the nursing process, medical plan of care, multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care, and nursing policies.	Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the area of psychiatry. PA RN License BLS certification. SCM training	Must possess a current Pennsylvania license as a Registered Nurse.	.9 36 hrs. per week	7pm-7am
RN Behavioral Health * PRN	Assesses plans, supervises, evaluates all nursing care of the patients and correlates the nursing process, medical plan of care, multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care, and nursing policies.	Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the area of psychiatry. PA RN License BLS certification. SCM training	Must possess a current Pennsylvania license as a Registered Nurse.	PRN	Varies
BHU Tech * PRN	Responsible for assisting in patient care under direction of RN in BHU. May provide basic care to patients, helping them with daily activities.	Certification as Nursing Assistant in PA, preferred. BLS certification, SCM training.	High School diploma or equivalent	PRN	Evening/Nights
BHU Tech * PRN
